Changing the Wordpress Admin Password

This article assumes you know your current Admin password. If you have forgot it you can either retrieve it by clicking the Lost Password? link on your Wordpress admin login page or by editing an entry in your MySQL database. For assistance with editing the database, please Contact Support.

1. From your Wordpress Dashboard, select Users on the left menu.



2. Select the Admin user link.



3. At the bottom of this screen you can set a new password. For a more secure password, is recommended to use a combination of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.



4. Click the Update Profile button and your password is updated immediately.
